What's fanwork bingo?
Ever played bingo?
Fanwork bingo is when you receive a bingo board, but instead of randomly generated numbers that you cross off as a caller pulls them, it's full of tropes and you get a bingo by creating five fanworks using those tropes!
Oh, so the point is to win?
Well... not really.
The point is to have fun and to create fanworks for a fandom we love!
How do I play?
Fill out the sign up form! You'll receive a randomized bingo card at whatever point of contact you said is best, and then you can start creating!All the trope names will use either simple description or their TV Tropes name, and if there's a trope that squicks you out or that you simply must replace, we'll offer some replacement prompts instead!
Do I have to write to play?
While trope bingo is traditionally played by fic writers, and the tropes are chosen with that in mind, you can create any fanwork to fit a square! Just be creative and have fun!
What do I do when I finish something?
Upload it!
There's a collection on ao3, and you can also post on twitter or tumblr with #d2022bingo (and, of course, tag the account!)If you get bingo, celebrate! If you finish a full board, you can get sign up to get another!
